The Somos Unidos Foundation is a fluid agent of change. Where we are needed, we will go. To date, we have supported youth soccer development, New Mexico schools, healthcare organizations, artists, restaurant workers, and many more. We know that new opportunities will come, and we look forward to standing with our fans and supporters to answer the community’s call.

The New Mexico United Academy is the highest level of youth soccer in New Mexico and is the only program in North America (at any level) to offer a completely free program to every participant.

The Diversity Fellowship is a program in which aspiring leaders in the sports world can get real world experience and training. Accepted applicants will spend months working alongside the Front Office or Coaching staff contingent on the applicant's interests.

Our Culture
outreach
Outreach certainly looks a bit different during the Coronavirus pandemic, but the heart of our outreach initiatives remain intact. We love connecting with people! In the past, we’ve visited schools, community centers, youth soccer practices and nursing homes. During New Mexico’s stay-at-home order, we’ve come together with our fans to bake treats for essential workers, donate blood, and celebrate healthcare workers in a gratitude parade. Whatever the future brings, we are certain of this: we will actively seek out diverse opportunities to serve and connect with New Mexicans statewide.

New Mexico United is honored to have donated tickets and signed merchandise to organizations in an effort to bolster fundraising efforts and critical work in our community. We understand the importance of responsible stewardship, and we know that our success is a direct result of the commitment and generosity of New Mexicans. SUPPORTING ART & ARTISTS
Soccer is the world’s beautiful game and New Mexico’s artistic heritage is equally unparalleled. From day one, we have surrounded ourselves with homegrown art, food and music – 100% New Mexican.The intersection of art and sport will always be at the heart of the New Mexico United experience. The Somos Unidos Foundation will support beautiful fan-created murals, hands-on initiatives like “United by Paint”, the innovative Artist Series of United merchandise, and other projects that spotlight New Mexico’s creative economy.
